On October 3rd, Higher Ground’s Brandy Brooks was interviewed to discuss student homelessness in Boston. “The city of Boston and state of Massachusetts are leaders when it comes to affordable housing, but at the same time we have thousands of students that are homeless,” Brandy says. Higher Ground serves as a backbone to the Family-Led Stability Initiative (FLSI) to end student homelessness in Boston public schools.
